Our school field trip trains provide an exciting and educational trip for students, teachers and parents. The Fish Hatchery School Field Trip includes a 15 minute train ride to the hatchery, staying for about 45 minutes, then a 15 minute train ride back to town. The visit to the fish hatchery is a self-guided tour. After returning, have a picnic lunch in Fillmore's downtown Central Park, adjacent to the railroad tracks. Students are encouraged to bring dimes to purchase fish food. Each person on the train must purchase a ticket, regardless of age. Minimum of 100 passengers needed to run the train.
